IF "no appointments" are necessary or provided, how do these aids provide proper analyses improvement on frequencies where hearing loss is greatest - or from one ear to another when there is unequal loss from one ear compared to the other - are these aids even capable of this sort of adjustment, or just primarily "sound amplifiers" with a bit of tone control/DSP - but no real adjustments otherwise? My current aids, WITH that "nasty appointment and adjustment" are absolutely great in dealing with these issues - and "lower cost" WITHOUT this capability, is a waste of $$$$...
